Video Game Layout

Selection Screen: The videogame mock-ups I created took elements from the old Street Fighter videogame and combined it with the newer introduction and graphics of Marvel and DC heroes and villains. I titled my videogame Heroes vs Villains as you play the game by picking your character, either a hero or villain

Movie Poster: Created in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. We were given the prompt “The Survivalist” and had full creative control to create any movie poster we came up with. This is the design I came up with starring none other than Keanu Reeves.

Visual communication assignment: objective to create a flyer that could be used on Faceboook, Instagram and Snapchat to promote the Social Media Certificate offered by the Communications Department. I inserted a puzzle image with different social media platforms into Adobe Photoshop and using the selection tools I was able to layer a mask and incorporate the Jacksonville University logo into the design

Postcard Design

Visual communication assignment: objective to create a postcard that would promote Jacksonville University. Front of the postcard created in Photoshop. I combined images of Jacksonville University’s campus, students at homecoming, and the university logo as well as use colors and typography that followed Jacksonville University’s style guide.

Postcard Back: I used Jacksonville University’s approved font and colors and inserted the graduate dolphin statue image to stay consistent with the design on the front. Using the selection and mask tool I placed the dolphin statue and experimented with the opacity to create the design.

Visual communication assignment: my recreated flyer for a dentistry company. I omitted information that was unnecessary and manipulated the placement and size of text to show importance. I chose to include more images of children and selected font that would infer the target audience.
